The Angel of Hope will be coming to Long Island

The plans to erect the Angel of Hope Statue in Eisenhower Park ,Nassau County continue to move well. The angel statue has been ordered. We are in the process of ordering all the material for the construction of the area surrounding the Angel. As of now it looks like we may have all the labor donated to do all the construction. Please pass the word that we will have a ground breaking soon.

This Angel will represent hope to the thousands of parents who have endured the death of a child. What is an Angel of Hope?

The Christmas Box, a best-selling book by Richard Paul Evans, inspired this statue. In the story, a woman mourns the death of her little daughter by making regular trips to the child’s grave, which is marked with an angel statue. (Angel of Hope) The statue evokes a profound and miraculous connection between mother and child and helps convey valuable lessons about the true meaning of life to others. The simple story has brought hope to thousands of parents who have endured the death of a child.

Two proud girls helped with a project at Angela’s House. Katherine Berner designed and created a devotional garden and she also built bird houses. Meredith Smith also assisted in the design of the devotional garden and she also built a picket fence bench for the garden. Congratulations and thanks for a job well done.
