Angela’s House had its 5th annual golf outing on August 13th 2007 at the St George’s Golf and Country Club. We were rained out on our original day in June but it did not stop us. We had the great weather and a fabulous turnout for our new date. St George’s Golf Course was in great condition giving our golfers a perfect course for the day.

In the morning our golfers checked in to an array of gifts, a continental breakfast and free massages from A Touch of Wellness, Smithtown.
After a great afternoon of golf and a BBQ lunch everyone relaxed to a cocktail party and seafood bar. It was a very relaxing time sitting on the deck and around the bar. Our guests then moved into the dinning room and were shown a DVD that shows how we work to assist parents caring for their children at home and in Angela’s House. Bob Policastro talk about being thankful for a great turn out for this event and the patience of everyone to come back after being rained out. He also discussed how he would love to say he hold his wishes for good weather for the golf outing but he saves his prayers for the children we assist.The dinner was wonderful as it setup the fun and excitement of the raffles and golf prizes.
The outing would not be possible without the golf committee and the year long efforts by Tony Morrone, Doug DeMarco, Deniz Gurcan, Joe McGovern, Sean Tracey Erin Gibbons, Ken Hayes and Chris Kutner.
