    Fishing Fundraiser

Sailed July 28, 2008 from Captree State Park
    on the charter boat Fishtale

The boat was full with 60 people for a fun fishing fundraiser. We had perfect weather for a comfortable evening on the boat. The boat, Fishtale left from Captree State Park,www.Fishtale.com. The Captain Chris Altbacker was a great host and he kept everyone busy catching fish all night . This was our 2nd annual fishing fundraiser which would not be possible without the kind offer by Captain Chris and his wife Liz to use their charter boat to help raise money. It would be easy to feel a little sentimental when thinking about Sara Neuman and her prom. Prom nights are special, but for Sara and others like her, maybe a little more so.”Mommy, I feel like Cinderella,” she’d said, her mom recalled Wednesday, as a seamstress had snipped at the hem of the tiny girl’s coral prom dress singing “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.”Sara, 19, is a 4-foot-9, 75-pound, medically fragile special education student at Plainview-Old Bethpage High School, and Thursday night she and Andrew Siebenberg, 18, her classmate and boyfriend since eighth grade, will attend the prom at the RexCorp (formerly EAB) Plaza in Uniondale.”He asked me in third period typing class,” the Plainview teen said. “I was like, ‘Oh my God. Thank God.’
